In addition, the climate can change drastically as well. Many of the countries in Africa have a dry season and a rainy season. During the dry season, there is not much water in the air because of a lack of rain. In order to combat this, you will need to bring some sort of hydration pack with you so you can stay hydrated. During the rainy season, there can be a lot of mud and bugs. It can also be almost unbearably humid. Prepare for this with light clothes and a lot of bug repellent.
