Glenburn Lodge is perfectly situated within the World Heritage Site, the “Cradle of Humankind”. Glenburn Lodge has 100 bedrooms, conference, wedding venue and spa facilities is a mere 30 minutes from both Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The natural scenic beauty of Glenburn Lodge makes it the ideal setting for conferences, product launches, think-tanks and team-building exercises. The Conference Centre seats up to 600 delegates across eight conference rooms. All rooms are fully equipped with state of the art conference equipment.

Facilities

Glenburn Lodge offers two and three bedroom chalets, Garden Suites, standard hotel rooms, twin rooms and hotel suites overlooking indigenous bush and tranquil water features. All rooms either have a view of the ZwartkopsMountains or the river frontage.

While the Glenburn Lodge hotel rooms and family rooms offer space and comfort, the Garden Suites are elegant with fresh contemporary Afro-centric décor. Each with its own private patio, the garden suites overlook the lush river frontage. Under floor heating, large LCD televisions and heated towel rails are some of the luxuries guests can expect in the Garden Suites

Glenburn's two and three bedroom chalets boasts with lovely private patios and overlook the river frontage. This is an ideal self-catering option for families or groups traveling together should guests not want to utilize the hotel catering facilities. Glenburn Lodge also offers a number of paraplegic friendly rooms.

Conference Facilities

The Coachman, the Boardroom, Greenwell's Glory, Guineaufowl, Mallard, Marabou, Minnow, Muddler, Pheasants Tail, Royal Clansman and Williams Favourite provide conference facilities for groups between six and 150. Conference venue names were either inspired by Glenburn Lodge's fly fishing tradition and fly names, or the Scottish names reflecting the beautiful natural surrounds. 

 

Glenburn Lodge offers a wide range of conference packages to suit your specific needs and budget. Delegates can expect sumptuous tea and coffee break snacks and a wide selection of coffee and tea options. In winter time Glenburn Lodge also serve soups and hot chocolates during breaks. The aroma of popcorn in the conference all day long has been a favourite with conference-goers for many years. Standard conference equipment is included in the conference packages while we can make arrangements for any special requirements the company may have.

 

Excellent teambuilding facilities are available on the banks of the river and at Bush Willow Tented Camp. The Tower of Empowerment teambuilding area provides the perfect venue for physical teambuilding.

Weddings

 

Glenburn's open-sided Gazebo-style Chapel, lovely landscaped gardens and thatched reception area are available for our guests. Glenburn provides everything you need for your perfect day.

Glenkyle overlooks a spectacular waterfall, and is situated on the Blaauwbank River, while Glencove is nestled on the Crocodile River in a beautiful country garden setting. Glenwillow is situated at the foot of the majestic Zwartkops Mountain in the Bush Willow Tented Camp.

Glenburn's banqueting team and wedding co-ordinators are available to work closely with you to ensure that all arrangements are in accordance with your wishes.
