Executive Suites
The executive suites are situated in two private wings, one overlooking the Lion's River, and the
other with peaceful views of the gardens and pool. Each room is individually decorated with
feather duvets and plush fabrics. The suites facing the gardens and pool have air-conditioning & heating, while the river view suites have fireplaces. All feature private balconies.
Caversham Suite
The Caversham Suite has a lovely kingsize bed with a coronette and is plushly decorated with a Chez lounge and Ottoman in front of the fireplace. This room has a lovely river view and comes with a television and stocked room bar.
Honeymoon Suite
The Honeymoon Suite is a very spacious and romantically decorated suite which comes complete with a four poster antique bed and canopy with a feather duvet and own sound system, has a stunning river view, which can be appreciated from the deck with a glass of wine from the room bar.

With a newly opened Spa and Wellness Center, this retreat must now have one of the most complete and indulgent all-round packages in Kwazulu Natal.

Directions
By air :
An hour and a half from Durban International, or a mere 30 minutes from Oribi airport in Pietermaritzburg, makes air access a breeze. Although not equipped with a Helipad, we do have two perfect areas for helicopters to land.
By vehicle/self drive :
If you choose to self drive, the roads are excellent and sinage very easy to follow. Our driveway entrance is on the R103
From Gauteng : (4 hours 30 minutes)
Exit No. 132 from the N3 Southbound. Turn right over the highway and proceed straight on for 8 km until the R 103 is reached in Nottingham Road Village. Proceed in the direction of and through Balgowan on the R 103 for a further 17 km and the Hotel is on the left hand side.
From Durban : (1 hour 15minutes)
Exit No. 107 from the N3 Northbound. Turn left at the stop street; follow the road to the T-junction turn to your right on the R 103 in the direction of, and through Lions River. Follow that road for approximately 12 km and the Hotel is on the right hand side.
