On the fringe of the Majestic Drakensberg in the heart of the Natal Midlands lies a charming guest house - Abberley, for "Place of Happiness".

Tucked behind an avenue of oak trees, this victorian style homestead offers comfortable accommodation for the traveller. Here Jerry and Tracey van Gessel have created the setting for a comfortable sojourn into the Midlands.

Accommodation

Set on 15 acres, of scenic meadows and forests which are home to numerous indigenous birds, Abberley offers individually styled en--suit double room accommodation. Each room opens onto a brookie lace-decorated verandah, from where you can marvel at the breathtaking views overlooking the Gowan Valley.
