Renowned for its stud tours and trout fishing as well as its proximity to the Midland's Meander, Weenen and Drakensberg Game and Mountain reserves and Boschhoek Golf Estate, Hartford is the home of Good Conversation, Old Whiskey and Classic Horses.

One of only 23 AA Gold Achiever Awards at Indaba's International Travel Show, with The Mount Nelson, The Marine, Cellars - Hohenhort, The Cape Grace, Mala Mala and Singita amongst others.

Renowned for its eleven incomparably styled luxury suites and a choice of underfloor heating, heated towel rails, Jacuzzi spa baths and fireplaces. All suites have recently been uniquely redecorated with a fusion of color, style and texture. They are all equipped with a telephone, TV (with M-Net and Satellite Channels) and a mini-bar.

Secluded in the gardens in close proximity to the swimming pool, sauna and wellness house. Views of trout fishing dam. Large superior bedroom with king size bed, Moroccan carpets and Indian silks. Lounge area with fireplace and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi spa baths with stone floors and decorated with mosaics. Often sought for special occasions.

TWO NEW SUITES - Umbulelo Suite 13 & Ezulwini Suite 14
These suites have been perfectly placed on the most picturesque trout dam; they have been naturally built in adobe and stone with growing roof and thatch. Both uniquely decorated, and each comprises entrance hall, en-suite bedroom, fireplace, under floor heating, wooden deck and private pool. Views of trout dam and surrounding farmlands
