Hawks Rest is an upmarket 4 star Bed & Breakfast,
self-catering and conferencing Venue, set in the leafy suburb of
Gillitts in the western suburbs of Durban, on the east coast of South
Africa.
We offer the discerning business or leisure guest
a warm, private and friendly retreat, which is incredibly easy to
find being conveniently located just off the M13 highway and the
N3 freeway.
Your hosts are Brian and Theresa Hawkesworth, who welcome you to an accommodation
experience you will enjoy and appreciate.
Nestled between Winston Park, Hillcrest, Kloof and Everton we
offer peace & quiet and a warm and friendly environment in
which to relax, or recover from a day's work. For those of you
who are visiting Durban on business, we are conveniently located
with regard to the Westmead, Mahogany Ridge and Hammarsdale industrial
parks.
For those on holiday, adventure seekers and sports people, we are
twenty minutes from Durban's beaches, and literally on the Comrades
Marathon route. Each June we have 12 500 odd athletes running past
our front gate, several of whom have stayed with us.
