The 121 Battalion is 15 km from St. Lucia: 1.5km. concrete airstrip. Very convenient for our Ndiza Air Charters' Fly-in Packages from all major Airports in South Africa. Famous Game Reserves such as the Hluhluwe and Umfolozi Game Reserves is close enough to St. Lucia for enjoyable day trips. (Approx. 50 km. away from St. Lucia.) Cape Vidal is only 25 km north of St. Lucia: ideally for snorkelling, spear fishing, daytrips, etc. St. Lucia is a low- risk malaria area.

The rooms in the lodge are all en suite and air conditioned. Each room is equipped with a fridge and mini bar, snacks, TV (MNET and DSTV), and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. (Double sleeper couch available in room for little ones sharing) You will have a door leading from your room to your own private garden with furniture and stairway access to the wetlands and bird watching deck.
Breakfast (Yoghurt, muesli, cereals, fresh fruit, toast and preserves, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, eggs made to order, juice, coffee and tea) is included in the price and served on the raised wooden deck next to the second pool. From here you will have a stunning view of Mapelane, the Umfolozi River, the ocean and part of the estuary.
The best spot to relax with a sundowner and marvel in our beautiful sunsets! There is also a huge built in braai with rotisserie on this deck that you are most welcome to use. The lodge has a comfy lounge, fully stocked honesty bar and pool table available for guests to enjoy.

Secure parking on our premises. The Lodge with a lovely wooden deck offers beautiful views over the Ocean and part of Famous Lake St. Lucia. (From here Ndiza's guests are privileged to be the first to see the whales on their way to the warm Mozambican's waters.)
The Conference Room caters for up to 28 delegates and is equipped with flip charts, overhead projector, television and VCR. The Conference can be used for hearty Dinners and come togethers for larger tour groups. (Many Christmas meals flowed over into dinners and lifelong friendships in this very same room!)
KwaZulu Natal abounds with nature reserves and game parks, which offer a diversity of wildlife experiences and nature trails, from birding and rambling outings in indigenous forests to breathtaking trails through the wetlands and coastline.
