Located a short distance from Himeville and Underberg and
half way up the Sani Pass lies Sani Valley Lodge, an exclusive accommodation,
fly fishing and game park lodge.
It is the only private game lodge in the Natal Southern Drakensberg that
borders on the World Heritage site and has some of the most sought after "wild
trout" fishing in the entire Drakensberg region.
Sani Valley Lodge is a unique blend of nature, activity
and luxury accommodation (a mix between an upmarket B&B and guest house/hotel).
Overlooking a 260 acre lake at the foot of the spectacular Drakensberg Sanipass,

There are 4 different accommodation types to suite your
specific needs:
Rainbow Lodge
Largest chalet available at Sani Valley. It has 3 luxurious
en-suite bedrooms that can accommodate up to six people comfortably. This
unit is truly a luxury home away from home.
Bushman Lodge
2 bedroom en-suite lodge exquisitely decorated is African themes with original
African artefacts & embroideries. This unit has magnificent elevated views
of the lake breathtaking mountain views.
Sunset Lodge
These consist of three beautifully decorated semi-detached
one bedroom units. Each unit has magnificent lake and mountain views from lounges & bedrooms.
There are two units downstairs and one unit upstairs. We do not allow babies
or young children in these units due to them being semi detached.
The sunsets here are the best in the Drakensberg, with game
wandering around your deck from early morning to late at night. You will love
the sounds of life staying here!
Lakeside Lodge
Exquisitely decorated, double story stand-alone units. Ideal
for honeymooners. Magnificent lake and mountain views from living area, bedroom & bathroom.
Ideally sleeps 2 people but does have a small nook behind the main bedroom
with a double stack bed which is suitable for young children.
With total privacy in mind, every lodge has been individually
decorated. Luxury fabric crisp hand-embroidered, cotton linen, hand-painted
lithographs and marble finishes are just a few of the details that complement
the beauty and the tranquillity of the area.
Sani Valley Lodge offers a selected range of excellent beauty
treatments. If you are stressed, overworked or simply need a relaxing and beauty
treatment, Yvonne’s salon is definitely for you! Enjoy a selection of
the latest ‘hot rock’ massages on the comfort of your own deck.
Sani boasts a small conference facility right on the water's edge with a view
to die for. The facility caters for up to 20 people and includes the usual facilities
such as a projector screen, boardroom tables and chairs. This is ideal for corporate

can choose from an array of activities including, flyfishing, game drives,
