Veras Bed and Breakfast is situated 70 km south of Durban, ½ hour from the Durban International Airport. Pennington is one of the last best kept secrets, with an abundance of bush, wildlife and the beach, makes this venue a place of fond memories and lazy days in the sun.

Birders paradise, with over 230 species of birds including the rare Nerina Trojan. The Beach is walking distance away. Beautiful sandy beaches with rocky points dotted with tidal pools. Between May and August the arrival of millions of sardines on our coast brings thousands of birds and many sharks in search of an easy meal. 2 Superb 18 hole golf courses to choose from. Fine cuisine at more than five local restaurants. Croc World is 15 km away - perfect for a family occasion. Vernon Crookes nature reserve, has places to picnic. Zebra and numerous species of antelope are stocked in this reserve.
