Madikwe Game Reserve - North West
What makes the Bush House different is the people who make you feel so warmly welcome, at the bar after your game drive, and the boma for dinner staring up at the stars . The Bush House pride themselves on every detail and care for their guests, being attentive to their needs.
The Bush House has six en-suite rooms. Four rooms each have their own private verandah. One verandah over looks the garden and waterhole with another has the soothing, trickling sounds of a water feature outside the sliding door. All of the rooms at the Bush House are part of the main lodge so there are no long unnecessary walks to and fro.
Breakfast at the Bush House is in the garden. Afternoon tea is packed with treats and dinners around the fire are under the stars.
Let our therapist at the Bush House pamper you with her wide range of products and treatments. Allow yourself to be pampered in the salon, being spoilt with a variety of treatments ranging from manicures and pedicures to facials and pampering body wraps.
Enjoy relaxing in the large shaded garden overlooking the best waterhole in Madikwe. Lounge at the pool while our staff take care of your every need. Enjoy a friendly game of cricket, rugby or soccer on the lawn.
Game drives at the Bush House are conducted through the year at the best viewing times when game activity is normally at its peak - early morning and late afternoon into evening. The morning safari starts at sunrise, and the evening drive leaves late in the afternoon with enough time for the guests to enjoy a bush sunset and the opportunity of viewing nocturnal animals. Spectacular night skies, especially startling during winter, provide the Bush House guests with breath taking views of well known constellations such as the Orion, the Southern Cross and Scorpio in the clear winter evenings.
A bush walk through the reserve is a must for all nature enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy close-to-the-wild experiences and a chance to focus on the smaller bush inhabitants including birds, insects and butterflies. Guests can also discover interesting worlds of trees, grasses, flowers, geology and ecology - of course, occasionally big game can be seen on walks, including the Big Five. Our African summers are normally very hot and wet while winter is normally dry and cold. Hats and sun block are highly recommended as well as warm jackets and jerseys. At any time of year, your encounters with the wild at The Bush House will be very special and memorable. Contact Details Tel:+27 (0) 31 916 1449 | (0) 39 975 1466 ROAMING AFRICA OFFERS YOU AN
