Reminiscent of an East African safari camp of old, Buffalo Camp offers visitors a unique and intimate experience of the African bush. It is ideally suited to those who wish to discover the bush without compromising on comfort.

Each of the en suite tents are inter connected with wooden walkways, which run high above the riverbed.

Landscaped by mother nature herself, the entertainment facilities which include lounge, dinning room and boma are surrounded by an indigenous garden.

Accompanied by highly skilled game rangers, guests set out on early morning and evening game drives, to discover the wonder of the African bush and a unique encounter with its majestic inhabitants.

Situated in the Kapama Game Reserve, access to the lodge is either by road or by air from Johannesburg or Cape Town to Eastgate Airport.

 The reserve is approximately 5 hours drive from Johannesburg, guests would route via Witbank before leaving the N4 for Belfast before proceeding to Dullstroom. On to Lydenburg and Origstad before going through the J.G. Strydom Tunnel and. Kapama Game Reserve is clearly signposted hereafter.
Guests flying to Eastgate Airport will be collected at the airport by their ranger, the reserve begins less than 5 minutes from the airport.
Please take note of the following terms and conditions:

• A 20% deposit will be required to confirm a booking with full payment due 7 days prior to arrival.
• Bookings cancelled 45 days prior to arrival will forfeit their deposit.
• Bookings cancelled 30 days prior to arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
• Bookings cancelled 14 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• Please note that guests will be required to sign an indemnity form on arrival.
