- Kruger Park - Limpopo/Northern Province - Named after Colonel Stephenson Hamilton, who was instrumental in establishing the world famous Kruger National Park, Hamiltons Tented Camp reflects a safari adventure of the early twentieth century, where grace and style were the epitome of luxurious living.
Six magnificent tents with flowing mosquito nets, slipper baths and a superb view of the Ngwenyeni dam are linked by raised timber walkways amongst ancient Jackalberry trees.
The open tented lounge and dining room are perched on wooden decks while a secluded swimming pool and viewing deck offer ultimate privacy. Hamiltons Tented Camp is one of South Africa's most unique camps with unrivalled design, service, ambience and personalised cuisine. The lodge has a swimming pool, offers a butler service, and transfers are available from the Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit and the KMI Airport outside Nelspruit. Hamiltons Tented Camp offers silver-service dining overlooking the river, where magnificent cuisine freshly prepared to your satisfaction, offers a menu as extensive as the African wilderness. Private dining is a romantic alternative, and bush picnics can also be arranged.
Game viewing at Hamiltons Tented Camp is truly spectacular and the lodge is home to creatures great and small. Africa's Big 5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo - roam the reserve as well as a diverse variety of entelope, birds and insects. Open game drives, guided bush walks, and bird watching are all offered at the lodge, as well as a self-drive option through the Kruger National Park. The water at Hamiltons Tented Camp is safe to drink, although complimentary bottled water is placed in your room.
