Kapama Private Game Reserve is situated in the Limpopo Province with easy access through the nearby Eastgate Airport. In the heart of this 13 000 hectare game reserve, Kapama Lodge is the epitome of de-luxe accommodation in prime big game territory.
Twenty spacious, air-conditioned, en suite thatched chalets, decorated to reflect the rich textures of Africa, are set in tranquil indigenous gardens.
The Kapama Lodge tea deck is a relaxing venue to observe an abundance of birds in their natural habitat or to enjoy cocktails on a balmy evening, while the library and lounge offer a warm welcome on cool evenings. Kapama Lodge lounge is tastefully decorated in typical African style offer guests the opportunity to relax or just a venue to enjoy a novel or two.
Kapama Lodge can accommodate up to 40 guests in 20 luxurious, air-conditioned, thatched double chalets offering the discerning traveller the very best of an African game lodge experience.
Room amenities include: en suite bath and shower, telephone, mini-bar, hairdryer, private safe, complimentary tea/coffee facilities, ceiling fans and room service. Supreme standards of comfort, tasteful interior design, luxury decor and furnishing make this African experience complete
The tea deck is a relaxing venue for watching an abundance of birds in the evening, while the lounge offers a warm, cosy welcome on cool winter evenings. The reception and a well stocked curio shop lead out towards the wooden decking and the open air bar.
Kapama Lodge is the ideal corporate getaway, for conferences, Honeymoons, team-building exercises, achiever incentives, product launches and executive brainstorming sessions.
Our state-of-the-art conference facilities include the most modern multimedia equipment. The lodge and natural surroundings stimulate creative thinking, and strategy sessions can be held formally in the conference room, in the bush under the African sky or in one of our bomas (grass-walled enclosures).
We have an in-depth understanding of corporate needs and expectations, and will tailor-make a package to suit your specific requirements. Not only does Kapama Lodge offer a wide variety of services, but it also has a number of specialists on call to enhance your visit, from motivational speakers to bush experts and team-builders.
Corporate packages are completely flexible and can include a variety of activities including fishing, game tracking, bush cooking, survival skills, scavenger hunts and bush discoveries.
Kapama has two conference facilities, one at Kapama Lodge and one at Kapama River Lodge.
The lodge has been created mindful of the need to accommodate large, private game lodge incentive groups, and provides numerous incentive activities including ‘the Amazing Race', hot air ballooning and team building activities.
Please take note of the following terms and conditions for individuals below, group terms and conditions will differ from these and should be established during reservation.
- A 20% deposit will be required to confirm a booking with full payment due 7 days prior to arrival.
- Bookings cancelled 45 days prior to arrival will forfeit their deposit.
- Bookings cancelled 30 days prior to arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Bookings cancelled 14 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
- Please note that guests will be required to sign an indemnity form on arrival.
- Children between 6 and 12 will be permitted on safaris at the sole discretion of the ranger.
Children up to the age of 6 will not be permitted on normal safaris We invite children under 6 to join their parents on a 'bush bumble' where we will be careful to avoid potentially dangerous game, this mini safari will be done between normal safari times and will be for approximately two hours. Subject to availability, sole use of a land rover is possible at a private safari rate.
