Amid an unspoilt wilderness, Kings Camp offers guests a unique bushveld experience with the hospitality and comforts of a gracious Colonial past. Situated in the world-renowned Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, a five-hour drive from Johannesburg, Kings Camp has a wealth of bio-diversity. With access to 100km² of traversing territory, game viewing is excellent with sightings of elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, rhino and other game, as well as numerous bird species.

Decorated in the appealing style of a bygone era, the 20-bed lodge is comfortable and intimate. Traditional thatched suites are luxuriously equipped with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower and mini-bar. Camp facilities include an inviting lounge-bar and refreshing pool with a viewing deck overlooking a waterhole. Authentic South African cuisine is served around a crackling campfire in the boma, or in the form of bush dinners beneath the stars. The lodge boasts an exceptional wine cellar.
