We are only minutes away from the Stellenbosch wine Route and Gordon’s Bay’s famous “Bikini” beach.
Wind-Rose Guest House offers 8 luxurious double en-suite bedrooms which all open onto their own private terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the magnificent views and spectacular sunsets, or enjoy the peace and quiet of the 3 acre indigenous garden.
All rooms can accommodate four guest with a king size bed and a double sleeper couch. All rooms are air conditioned, equipped with satellite TV, bar fridges with mini bar, hairdryer, safe, wireless internet, coffee and tea making facilities, toiletries and ironing facilities. A wash and fold laundry service is also available.
Our conference facilities can accommodate up to 25 delegates and comes fully equipped with a Large Flat screen TV, DVD / VCR player, Flipcharts, White boards, wireless internet, fax facilities, and a multi media projector. We can accommodate up to six break-away groups without using the garden or outside patios.
Day Conference packages are available. All conferences rates include welcome drinks, Morning and Afternoon Tea and a Buffet Lunch.
Delicious Continental or full English breakfasts are served on the terrace and light lunches and dinners are served on request. Located in the garden are two barbecue areas for the use of our guests. We are also minutes away from a selection of fine restaurants from family friendly to romantically exclusive.
There is an informal bar /recreational room with a large screen TV, pool table and fully licensed bar where you are invited to socialize with other guests. The bar area opens onto the garden where the guests can enjoy a dip in the pool or can make use of either of the two complimentary Barbecue areas.
For the fitness enthusiast we have a fully equipped gym with a treadmill, cross trainer, rowing machine, and bicycle and weight machine.

We are close by to Gordon’s Bay and its famous Bikini Beach (4 km) for swimming, surfing, fishing, boat charter trips and whale watching. We are 5 minutes from Monkey Land, 15 minutes from the Stellenbosch wine-route, 20 minutes from Cape Town’s International Airport 45 minutes from Table Mountain Cable-way , Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, and close to many outstanding golf courses, a number of major shopping centres, beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants, including three of South Africa's Top 10.
From Gordon’s Bay follow the Coast road to Hermanus (45 minutes) which is ranked as one of the top whale watching destinations in the world. Other activities in the area include great White Shark diving in Gansbaai (1 hour), Cape Towns Closest Big five game reserve (1.5 hours); cable tow water skiing and horseback riding within 5 minutes drive.
For the nature enthusiast the Helderberg Nature Reserve, covering 245 hectares of indigenous fynbos, is a bird lover's paradise, with walks and trails to suit both leisure walkers and serious hikers. The Crystal Pools Hiking Trail near Gordon's Bay follows the Steenbras River into a gorge with stunning waterfalls and deep rock pools.
We are minutes away from a number of world class golf courses including Erinvale Golf course which was designed by Gary Player.
Driving Directions:
Follow the N2 towards Grabouw and Sir Lowry’s pass. At the Shell Petrol Station, just before Sir Lowry’s pass, turn right and follow the clearly Sign posted road to Wind-Rose Guest House and Conference Facility.
