Airlies Guest House Is situated In Montagu Western Cape Tielman and Corrie de Villiers wish to welcome and spoil you with true South African hospitality, while you relax in the friendly atmosphere of AIRLIES, their elegant home, dating from the beginning of the previous century. The home "AIRLIES", has been named after the farm near Wigtown in Scotland where Isabel, the Scottish bride of Dr Charles Muller grew up. They commissioned the pioneer architect, Wynand Louw to design and build the house for them, circa 1910. Both Charles and Isabel were medical doctors and practised from this house. They were both buried on the ridge near where the British fort has been built above the tunnel in Cogmanskloof, the western gateway into Montagu.

Wineland Day Tours Wineries visited include those in Ashton, Bonnievale, Montagu & Robertson Day tours in this area offer excellent value for money as you have a choice of a different itinerary for each day of the week. Guests will be collected at their accommodation in Montagu in a air conditioned 7-Seater, from were you will visit 4 different wine estates on the R62. On each tour at a selected farm the wine maker of the Estate will take you on a private tour through the delicate process of making and tasting wine, guests will be given the opportunity to blend and bottle their own wine. All tastings and a daily lunch is included, this will either be in a vintage cellar, under pepper trees or on the Breederiver itself. Want to relax and enjoy the carefree living of the winelands?
