Location
Allandale is approximately 20km from the
centre of Cape Town (V & A) and 20km from Simonstown. The closest beach is
Muizenberg and which is about 7kms away.
From N1 Highway
Take M5 - Muizenburg exit - Travel ± 4km and exit to N2 - De Waal Drive,
Cape Town (not to Airport) - travel ± 2km and exit left lane - M3 - Muizenberg
(not Cape Town) south. From here follow as below;
From N2 Highway
Exit left lane to M3 - Muizenberg (South), travel ± 15km past University
of Cape Town and continue to Constantia Valley - from M3 take Retreat/Tokai exit.
At the end of the exit, stop, turn right into Tokai Road. Travel ± 2km
to circle, straight across circle, 400m - turn left into Swaanswyk Road - ±
800m - right into Allandale, No: 72 Swaanswyk Road.
From Muizenberg R310 - Baden Powel
Drive
Turn right into M4 - Main Road, travel ± 3km to Lakeside, at traffic light
- left to M42 Steenberg Rd, stay on this road ± 4km past Ou Kaapse Weg
and Pollsmoor Prison. At circle turn left into Tokai Road, ± 400m - turn
left into Swaanswyk Road, ± 800m - right into Allandale, No: 72 Swaanswyk
Road.
Facilities
Allandale provides a range of accommodation
facilities from Flatlets through to Caravan Sites. We have horses and ducks.
All Units are fully furnished and equipped
with gas or electric stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery, glassware,
cooking utensils and cutlery.
All cottages have private metered telephones.
We probvide bedding but not towels.
Electric appliances such as gas heater or
fire place, sage, TV, M-NET are supplied.
No additional electric appliances are allowed.
Activities
An all-weather tennis court and a swimming
pool are available to guests on premises, free of charge.
Hikes and bike rides in the Tokai Forest.
The grounds are spacious and children are
well catered for with paddling pool and playground under shady trees.
The shaded playground offers swings, sea-saw,
jungle gym, and a a sandpit that will entertain them for days.
