Activities
Below you will find a list of the most visited tourist
attractions in Cape Town, but we can also help arrange, for example,
specialised wine tours, or assist sporting enthusiasts to dive with
the sharks!
Table Mountain
Six minutes drive from Leeuwenvoet, this internationally renowned
landmark is now a world heritage site and is home to an entire floral
kingdom.
Victoria and Alfred Waterfront (yes, it
is Alfred)
A five minute drive takes you to the V&A Waterfront which is home
to 45 restaurants, 16 cinemas, the Aquarium, Imax Cinema and over
200 shops and two craft markets. Take the boat from the Nelson Mandela
Gateway to Robben Island or a leisurely cruise to Clifton beach.
Clifton and Camps Bay beaches
A 10 minute drive will take you to the splendor of Camps Bay or Clifton beaches.
Laze in the sun on the pristine white sand and cool off in the invigorating waters
of the Atlantic Ocean.
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens
15 minutes away, the Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens are one of Cape Town's most
beautiful scenic attractions. Kirstenbosch grows only indigenous South African
plants and has more species of plant than the whole of Great Britain.
Cape of Good Hope
90 minutes drive will take you to the Good Hope Nature Reserve and
Cape Point. During this scenic journey, you will visit the fishing
village of Hout Bay and the old Naval station at Simon’s Town.
Swim with the African Penguins on Boulders Beach. View the Indian
and Atlantic Oceans from the lighthouse at Cape Point.
Cape Winelands
A 40 minute drive will take you to the heart of the Winelands, where
you can sample the finest wines under the oak trees in Stellenbosch.
The Cape produces excellent examples of the noble cultivars of cabernet
sauvignon, chardonnay and sauvignon blanc.
Robben Island
Originally a leper colony, this island was, for more than a century,
a notorious prison and once was the keep of our first democratically
elected president, Nelson Mandela. The prison on the island is now
a museum.
