Other highlights of the safari include the sightings of large game (elephant and buffalo) from a canoe on the Zambezi River. Zimbabwe lies between the Limpopo and the mighty Zambezi Rivers, in a natural parkland of 390 245 km². Trees and flowers flourish and wildlife abounds in the national parks. In this land of contrast and diversity the visitor will find, side by side, the old and the new, but what never changes are the friendly faces of the people of Zimbabwe, who make the visitors feel welcome wherever they go.

Day 3: Lake Kariba (Fly in)

The second largest man-made lake in the world is 280 km long and 32 km wide at its maximum width and covers 5 000 km². The dam wall was built at the entrance of the gorge and called Kariba (little trap) by the local tribe.

Day 8: Lower Zambezi

We return to Lower Zambezi River Camp. The camp has a superb view over the Zambezi and Kafue Rivers.

Day 9 / 10: Victoria Falls / Livingstone"Mosi-oa-Tunya" -
