DAY 1: Maun - Okavango area of Moremi

Your guide welcomes you at Maun Airport and we travel to our secluded bush camp in Moremi Wildlife Reserve.

DAY 2: Okavango area of Moremi

The reserve is situated in the north eastern corner of the Okavango Delta. It is a pure wilderness area of great beauty, rich green vegetation, palm trees, teeming with birdlife and a vast population of animals. We spend our time exploring the area on game drives.

DAY 3 / 4: Moremi Wildlife Reserve

We leave for an early morning game drive while our safari crew move the camp to another area of the reserve, depending on the seasonal migration of the game. The reserve, created in 1968 by the initiative of the Tawana tribe, is considered by many travelers to be the finest game park in Southern Africa.

DAY 5 / 6: Savute - Chobe National Park

The Savute Marsh is the deepest part of the Mababe Depression and it is the only part to have filled up with water in recent history. Today the marsh is dry and attracts a large population of animals, particularly hyena and lion. The Savute channel has a fascinating history of flooding and drying up independently of good rainy seasons and flood levels elsewhere, a mystery that has intrigued geologists for many years. Our guide takes us on game drives in the morning and late afternoon.

DAY 7 / 8: Chobe River - Chobe National Park

After 2 nights at the Savute Channel, we travel northwards and install our bush camp near the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets. The largest elephant population (+-30 000) in Africa, lives in the region and we may have the opportunity to watch herds of elephant drinking at the river. In November 1855. David Livingstone, with his 114 porters, left the Linyati / Chobe for the Great Falls east of Sesheke: the falls of Mosi-oa-Tunya.

DAY 9: Victoria Falls / Livingstone

We travel to Victoria Falls / Livingstone - without doubt one of the greatest and most unforgettable spectacles, where the waters tumble down in continuous thunder. "Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight"-written in David Livingstones diary. Accommodation at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge or similar. Excursions, entrances, lunches & dinners are not included.

DAY 10: Victoria Falls / Livingstone

After breakfast we travel to the airport where the safari ends.
