DAY 1: Early morning we depart from
Johannesburg and Pretoria heading towards the picturesque Mpumalanga
stopping at the scenic sites such as the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s
Luck Potholes, God’s Window and Three Rondawels. This evening
we enjoy a South African braai (barbeque) and relax around the campfire.
Today breakfast and lunch is at own cost.
DAY 2: We depart for the world renown
Kruger National Park harbouring an unparalleled diversity of wildlife!
Early morning we start on our first game drive taking us to a picnic
spot in the Park where breakfast will be served. The rest of the next
two days are spent on game drives searching for as many of the 147
mammals, 114 reptiles, 33 amphibians and 507 bird species as possible.
The next two evenings are spent in campsites within the Park.
DAY 3: As soon as the gates open
we start with our game drive to ensure we see as much game as possible.
The majority of the day is spent on game drives searching for as many
wildlife species as possible in their natural habitat.
DAY 4: This is your last opportunity
to spot that animal that’s been avoiding us the past two days
since it is our final game drive before returning to Johannesburg
and Pretoria. Lunch at own cost.
NB: On some departure dates we drive
directly through the Kruger National Park and only drive through the
scenic route on the last day.
POINTS OF INTEREST ON THE
4 DAY KRUGER PARK CAMPING TOUR
This tour is solely camping with all camping equipment
supplied - tents (three ‘man’ tents but only two persons
per tent), cooking equipment, chairs and roll mats (we sleep on foam
mattresses). We have recently erected a campsite inside the Kruger
National Park so our tents are fully erected on wooden stands, giving
you the comfort of mattresses on flooring instead of the ground!
All game drives are conducted by our knowledgeable staff. Tours are
either conducted in VW Microbuses or Mercedes 412D Sprinter Buses.
Night game drives can be arranged at R75 per person additional.
Bring along malaria tablets, insect repellent, hat,
sunscreen, flashlight, camera and personal belongings along with a
SENSE OF ADVENTURE!!
INCLUDED: All transport, accommodation
(camping), 3 meals a day (unless otherwise specified), entrance fees
and the services of a guide
EXCLUDED: All drinks i.e. water,
alcoholic & soft drinks, meals as specified and additional excursions
i.e. night game drive (approx R75 per person)
