Spiral Horn Tours and Safaris - Kruger
Park Safaris
The Kruger Park was formed in 1898 and is just less than 2 million
hectares. The Big 5 are regularly seen.. It has over 500 Bird Species,
147 Mammal Species, 7 Major River Systems and 35 different landscapes
from River Forest to Open Dry Savannah. The Kruger Park is vast and boasts
larger herds of Buffalo, Elephants and Antelope species that can be found
crossing the road in front of you. Kruger Park is natural, a landscape
that has not been touched for decades. For this reason game viewing is
restricted to roads to keep this vast landscape unspoilt and our wilderness
areas protected. Sit back and enjoy this vast landscape teaming with
Wildlife from the smallest insect to the largest mammal the elephant.
Enjoy the views of game from the luxury of your Open Safari Vehicle allowing
you vast views over this wonderful park. Accommodation, good food, and
the companionship, of your knowledgeable guide, who is with you throughout
your stay in the park.
ACCOMODATION:
Accommodation is in grass, roofed bungalows at one of the 12 camps
found inside the Kruger National Park. We mainly concentrate on the Central
and Northern Regions, due to the abundant herds of Buffalo, Elephant,
Antelope as well as the not so common species the Eland and Roan antelope
found in the north. The central region also boasts one of the larger
prides of lions. The camps we frequent are Mopani, Letaba, Olifants and
Satara. However our camps do change from time to time due to availability.
The rooms are very clean with two to four single beds, clean linen, bath
towels and soap are provided. All units have air conditioning and 220
volt electricity and plug points. Each bungalow has its own shower, toilet
and hand basin for your convenience. The camps have a Shop, Cafeteria,
Restaurant, Night Wildlife Film Shows and Filling Stations and are all,
electric fenced for your safety.
