7 DAY ADVENTURE OF
HORSE TRAILS AND OPEN VEHICLE SAFARIS IN THE KRUGER NATIONAL PARK

Day 1
Met by Vula Tours at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and transferred to Kaapsehoop Horse trails,
Introduction, lunch and a one-hour horse ride

Dinner and overnight at Kaapsehoop Horse Trails.

Day 2
After breakfast, depart on the Wilderness trail, via Kaapsehoop (an old mining town) and the Blue Swallow Reserve. Gallop with wild horses that have roamed the mountains for the last hundred years.
Have lunch at the bush camp, followed by an afternoon walk to view old mines and magnificent waterfalls.

Whilst relaxing next to a log fire enjoy dinner under the stars before retiring to your comfortable tents.

Day 3
Breakfast and depart on a full day ride along the magnificent Drakensberg escarpment viewing wild horses and a fantastic Panorama over the Barberton valley, rumoured to have the oldest rock formation in the world. Enjoy a picnic lunch while on the look out for the rare and notorious black leopard. Small game and animals are also spotted frequently. Return to the bush camp and relax over a camp-fire cooked meal.

Day 4
After breakfast and an early start along the escarpment back to Kaapsehoop Horse Trails where you will enjoy lunch and depart for the Kruger Park with Vula Tours in an open game drive vehicle.

In the Kruger Park, always be on the lookout for the many animals & birds including the famous Big Five (Leopard, Lion, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo)
At sunset we arrive at the magical Hippo Hollow Country Estate situated on the banks of the mighty Sabie River. Dinner will be on the veranda while Hippo grazing on the bank of the river set the scene. Overnight in comfortable chalets, popular for its "Out of Africa" theme.

Day 5
An early start from Hippo Hollow to the Kruger National Park will deem yet another adventure in search for animals that were not seen the day before. Enjoy the fantastic picnic breakfast then relax in the mid day heat. Lunch and a late afternoon drive. Dinner and overnight back at Hippo Hollow, perhaps spending the evening with traditional Shangaan dancers, beating on the drums and stirring deep emotions of traditional Africa.

Day 6
Today offers more adventure, with your esteemed ranger showing you the smaller secrets of the bush. A diversity of fauna and flora abound in the bushveld and make for interesting bird-viewing, as well as spotting creatures belonging to the lesser known 'Little 5'. Back at Hippo Hollow; enjoy the serene gardens, perhaps a relaxing drink in the popular bar? Dinner to be served at Hippo Hollow. Retire to the night sounds of Africa.

Day 7
