This is a combination of our Best of Namibia Wings Safari and our Skeleton Coast Safari.

Sunday and Monday : The Namib Desert - Sossusvlei Wilderness Camp

Tuesday and Wednesday : Damaraland Camp

Thursday and Friday : Etosha and Ongava

Saturday to Tuesday : Skeleton Coast Camp

Wednesday : Arrive in the late afternoon back in Windhoek.

Namibia was unbelievable! I don't think I ever understood the fascination people have with the desert. It's simplicity is truly hypnotic. The stunning starkness of the desert, the dunes, the beaches was extroadinary. I have pages of notes that I still must put together and send on to you. We loved having Bruce (our pilot/guide) for the entire Best of Namibia Wings portion of the safari. Not only was he a fantastic pilot, but was a great guide and hiking partner. He is a remarkable young man. The Skeleton Coast was beyond anything I could imagine. The days were long, exhausting and exhilirating. We did get to see the desert Elephants on several occasions and even saw the desert Giraffes. The camps were wonderful. It was great to see Dee at the Skeleton Coast. I didn't know she was there. . .it was a great surprise. I must say, each time I come back it gets harder to leave. As you know, we were joined by 3 other people on the Skeleton Coast. John from Scotland was great. He and I spent as much time as possible strapped on to the roof of the vehilcle. We have remained in touch Tina, thank you so much for all your help. The trip was truly phenomenal. I think I have had a harder time adjusting to being home after this trip than ever before. The solitude and splendor of Namibia will be with me always.
